Who do I work for?
You will be an independent contractor working through JC Connects LLC. Through us you will be connected to Fortune 500 companies via Arise.
How much can I earn?
Most roles offer $12-$17 an hour. It depends on the client that you choose. Clients may offer additional bonuses or incentives. However, you position is hourly based.
Do I have to pay to work?
You do not have to "pay" to work. However, because you are a 1099 Contractor, you are responsible for the cost of the background check which ranges from $30-$75, depending on the client. It is paid directly to the client and not to JC Connects LLC.
What companies will I be servicing?
We currently service multiple brands in several different industries like roadside assistance, healthcare transportation, retail and travel.
What do I need to start working?
You will need basic equipment such as a Desktop or Laptop, (no Mac or Chromebook). You will need a cellphone for authentication log in. You will also need wired internet and a wired headset.
Can I service multiple clients?
Yes, you can. You have the ability to service multiple clients, as long as your servicing hours don't conflict. This is a great way to maximize your income and utilize your flexibility.
Are there Taxes or Fee's Deducted?
Because you are a 1099 Contractor, taxes are not deducted from your pay. However, you will see a few fees. Recently Arise implemented a 5% fee not to exceed $50 per pay period. There is a Service Fee of $35.00 per pay period and a Payroll Processing Fee of $4.
Am I required to work a certain amount of hours?
You are required to work a minimum of 25 hours per week. That will keep you in compliance. Again, this position is flexible, so you decide how you'll reach your goal!!
